The World Series of Poker has taken to online tournaments like a duck to water and it appears to be going from strength to strength despite ongoing global chaos. The next leg in its online tournament offerings is its Money May Tournament, which kicked off on May 5, will run all the way through May 24. And the prize pool? A phenomenal $4 million in guaranteed prize money.

Money May will be played across a total of 93 top-class events, all leading up to the ultimate in No-Limit Hold’em Main Events: a re-entry round to be played on May 24 and offering a grand $300,000 guaranteed pay-check. Not bad going for a $525 buy-in price tag.

Appreciating Players

But that’s not all, because May 24 will also present to participants a special $100,000 “Player Appreciation” online Poker event, available at a $100 buy-in as well as a $1,000 buy-in for the No Limit Hold’Em High Roller Re-Entry round.

Sundays throughout the month of May won’t be boring either as the Money May Tournament will feature Sunday Special No-Limit Hold’Em events for superb Sunday Poker entertainment. Sunday May 10 presents a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool in return for a perfectly reasonable $215 buy-in price tag and Sunday May 17 does its bit for the tournament at $200,000 in prize money for a $320 buy-in.

Not a high roller? Then don’t dismay, because Money May also includes a total of 10 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack events and at a buy-in of only $5 a pop and $5,000 in prize money up for grabs, these are a true bargain.

These Players Are Welcome

As it stands at the moment, only those online Poker players resident in New Jersey, Nevada, Delaware and Pennsylvania will be permitted to participate in the WSOP’s Money May Tournament as these states have legalised online Poker. New Jersey also happens to have been a hot big-money Poker topic in recent times. The WSOP last week saw the wrapping up of its annual New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker. New Jersey players will be able to gain access to Money May via most online Poker sites.

Delaware players will be able to join in the fun via the 888 platform, and so will those tuning in from Nevada and Pennsylvania. Players of a legal gambling age residing in a licensed U.S. are can confirm their eligibility to participate on the WSOP’s official website.
